Prosperwell Founder & Vice Chair of the Care Sector Fundraising Ball helps raise £215,570 for care sector charities

After 3 years as both an ambassador for Championing Social Care and as part of the Care Sector Fundraising Ball’s committee, Tobi Alli-Usman, Prosperwell’s founder and managing director had an incredible first year as vice-chair.

The 2025 Care Sector Fundraising Ball raised £215,570 for care sector charities bringing the total to over 1.5 million pounds since its start, a huge fundraising success for everyone involved. This year, the lead charity beneficiaries were the Care Worker’s Charity and Marie Curie with the addition of a smaller charity, Care Rights UK.

The evening brought together more than 600 guests in London with the aim to raise vital funds for charities in the social care sector. The ball was filled with amazing entertainment, great food and a chance to bring everyone together for an important cause. It even featured a special performance from an All Stars group of past finalists from Care Sectors Got Talent…

Tobi said:

"It’s truly inspiring to see every corner of the care sector come together for such an important cause. To have raised £215,570 for Marie Curie and The Care Workers, alongside a meaningful contribution to our smaller chosen charity, is nothing short of remarkable. This reflects not just generosity, but the unity and compassion that runs through our sector."

Events like these highlight what Tobi, and the whole of the Prosperwell team, stand for: Raising money and helping the brands that are helping care for others.

Alongside Tobi, The Care Sector Fundraising Ball was chaired by Caroline Roberts.

Caroline says:

“It was a fantastic evening of celebration and giving. Thank you to all our amazing partners and guests. Their generosity has made a huge difference to charities that really deserve our support. I am delighted that we were able to raise much needed funds for charities that do such great work in our sector.
